Description
SRC Can is helping to shape the future landscape of Defence Intelligence that will support the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and its allies – redefining possible for the warfighter. SRC Can combines SRC Inc's 35+ years of experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) with a Canadian team of EW, Systems and Software Engineers to create intelligence products vital for the operational success of CAF platforms.
About the role
As a Junior All-Source Intelligence Analyst, you will be supported in the use of specialist software and tools to conduct data analysis. This will allow SRC Can to fulfil contractual obligations and ensure the delivery of quality products that meet customer requirements. After a period of training, you will work closely with more experienced analysts to aid decision-makers and stakeholders in understanding and mitigating threats in a complex environment. In addition to this, you will contribute to SRC Can meeting its broader objectives and targets.
SRC Can is committed to developing Electronic Warfare expertise in Canada and provides specialized training and mentorship to help early-career analysts grow into subject matter experts.
This is a hybrid role located in Ottawa, Ontario. Regular on-site work is required at multiple SRC Can and Department of National Defence locations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Successfully completing all facets of the EWIR production training pipeline;
- Developing proficiency in the use of SRC Can data analysis tools;
- Performing data analysis to create products that meet customer requirements;
- Ensuring that products, outputs and services comply with the SRC Can Quality Management System (QMS);
- Completing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance workplace capabilities;
- Assisting in the development, delivery, and continual improvement of SRC Can data analysis working practices; and
- Performing tasks, as directed, in support of broader SRC Can objectives and targets.
- Bachelor's degree in either Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.
- Demonstrated interest in defence, intelligence, radar systems, electronic warfare, or related technical disciplines is considered an asset.
- Exposure to systems engineering concepts is considered an asset.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar programming languages is considered an asset.
- Experience delivering training or education in radar related areas is desirable
- Excellent English verbal/written communication skills required. Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and work well as part of a technical team.
- Ability to undertake occasional domestic and international travel, as required.
- Candidates must be eligible to access Controlled Goods, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)-restricted information, and other export-controlled information.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance, with the potential to obtain Top Secret Clearance as required.
