Software Engineering Manager

We’re hiring an Engineering Leader (AI) for a fast-growing climate tech company based in Stockholm.

Following substantial recent funding, the business is entering a key scaling phase and is looking for a senior engineering leader to take ownership of their technical function and help build the next stage of growth.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for shaping and growing the engineering organisation, with full ownership over structure, processes, and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with product and leadership teams to define technical direction, while building a high-performing engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the engineering team in Stockholm
• Define and implement engineering processes, structure, and best practices
• Work closely with leadership on technical strategy and roadmap
• Drive the development of AI-powered solutions within a climate-focused product
• Support hiring, mentoring, and team development as the company grows

Requirements

• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams
• Strong background in AI/ML-driven products or platforms
• Ability to operate in a high-growth, evolving environment
• Experience building processes and structure within scaling teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
