- Drive technical quality, scalability, security, and reliability across applications and integrations
- Lead engineering excellence through mentoring, code reviews, and best-practice development
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders to design and deliver impactful solutions
- Champion modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation, testing, and observability
- Enhance and evolve event-driven, cloud-native platforms and distributed systems
- Take a lead role in production support, incident management, and continuous improvement activities
To be considered for this role you will demonstrate:
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET (Core / .NET 5+)
- Deep expertise building ASP.NET Core APIs and distributed systems
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Strong experience with event-driven systems
- Advanced experience with NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB or MongoDB
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices, including OAuth, JWT, authentication, authorisation, and identity management
- Experience leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, or customer outcomes
Cloud, DevOps & Platforms
- Recent experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- App Services
- Azure Functions
- Service Bus
- Key Vault
- API Management
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Experience implementing infrastructure and deployment automation within cloud environments
- Previous exposure to multi-cloud environments such as AWS and/or GCP
