Accounting Specialist (FMCG)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the company's financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant with experience in the FMCG industry and a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• 
  Monitor daily accounting transactions and general ledger activities.
• 
  Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• 
  Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
• 
  Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• 
  Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial concerns and reporting requirements.
• 
  Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• 
  Monitor tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 
  Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the FMCG industry.
• 
  Strong knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
