Change Management is looking to recruit a talented Project Manager to support a programme of ongoing improvements to the existing operating platform. This role would focus initially on improvements to help facilitate the onboarding of additional assets for the Mercer Direct Investment Unit (DIU) to manage as well as changes to improve scalability/reduce operational risk. You will work closely with internal stakeholders within Investments/Operations as well as internal Engineering teams and third-party vendors. The role will focus on helping to ensure there is a clear implementation plan for the programme of improvements which is tracked over time and delivers the key milestones needed to support business growth.

This is a hybrid working role, based out of our London office 3 days per-week.

We will count on you to:

  • Define tasks and milestones for implementing platform improvements and ensure their successful execution.
  • Direct Business Analysts to document requirements aligned with stakeholder expectations in Investments and Operations.
  • Engage the right specialist stakeholders (Operational Risk, Data, Architecture, etc.) at appropriate stages.
  • Oversee thorough testing and documentation of improvements before production rollout.
  • Escalate issues and risks with recommendations for management or mitigation.
  • Analyse the impact of new requests on existing work and prioritise accordingly.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the Change Management function within the DIU.
     

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree within a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project management role, preferably within asset management.
  • Proven track record delivering change/transformation projects using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Jira/Confluence.
  • Competence in project planning software.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to self-manage and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
