Italian Social Media Content Moderator – Digital Safety Industry (Lisbon)

Are you an Italian speaker who is passionate about digital culture, internet safety, and social media trends? We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical individuals to join our international team on-site in Lisbon! In this role, you will work behind the scenes for a major global platform, helping to maintain a safe, positive, and secure online environment for millions of users.

The Role

  • Content Review: Monitor, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content (videos, images, text, and audio) in Italian to ensure strict alignment with the platform's community guidelines and policies.
  • Risk Identification: Detect and quickly flag inappropriate, fraudulent, harmful, or policy-violating material, ensuring swift action is taken.
  • Objective Decision-Making: Make independent, accurate choices regarding content removals or escalations based on established global guidelines.
  • Data Privacy: Handle sensitive information and user reports with the highest level of confidentiality and digital security.

Working Model & Location

  • Location: Lisbon, Portugal.
  • Work Model: Full-time, 100% on-site role based in a modern, multicultural tech hub.

Requirements

  • Legal Status: Must hold an EU Passport or a valid Work Permit for Portugal.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a high level of objectivity.
  • Resilience: Emotional maturity and the ability to process a high volume of digital media with a professional, level-headed mindset.
