**Technical Sales Manager BENELUX**
My client has a subsidiary in Belgium.
* Every day, our technical experts support customers in developing new food products or optimising existing recipes and processes. We work with **high‑quality ingredients, additives, nutrients and functional systems** from internationally renowned suppliers — and this is where _you_ come in.

* You will sell valued added Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry
* You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches for the food industry.
## Tasks
**Your Role**
As Technical Sales Manager, you will drive the commercial success of our growing portfolio of ingredients, additives, nutrients and functional systems for the food, health and pharmaceutical industries.
Your responsibilities include:
* Providing **solution‑oriented technical advice** to customers and keeping suppliers informed about market developments.
* Supporting **product and application development** together with our product specialists and application technologists.
* Managing and expanding business with existing customers while actively developing new opportunities across the Benelux region.
* Achieving your sales targets and driving projects from first contact to successful implementation.
* Working closely with our customer service team to ensure smooth operational execution.
* Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
* Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups
* Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
* Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions
* Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen
* Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
* Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers
* You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
* Discover and understand customer’s needs and develop tailor-made solutions
* Conduct lab, small-scale or industrial trials with customers

## Requirements
* You have a **technical background** in Food Technoloy
* You combine technical understanding with a **strong commercial mindset**.
* You recognise opportunities, build long‑term relationships and communicate with integrity and respect.
* You are dynamic, results‑driven and passionate about what you do.
* You think in solutions and enjoy innovating together with customers.
* You are fluent in **Dutch, French and English**.
* you are comfortable with MS Office; experience with ERP or CRM is a plus.
* You are willing to travel frequently within the Benelux and occasionally internationally for training, trade fairs and partner meetings.
* Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
* exceptionally good communication, negotiation and analytical skills,
* high willingness to travel
* very organized, reliable, positive thinking
* you have a valid driving license
