The Opportunity

  • The Quality Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for leading the integration and optimization of Quality IT systems and related processes across New Zealand Manufacturing sites. This role will also evaluate and support the enablement of data and analytics capabilities to drive sustainable, compliant, and efficient operations.

  • The position plays a key role in aligning the sites with Abbott standards, enterprise systems, and best practices. The individual will work under general direction, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver timely, high-quality outcomes.

  • Success in this role requires intellectual curiosity, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to challenge the status quo while effectively balancing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the integration and implementation of Quality IT systems across New Zealand Manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with global standards

  • Define project plans, timelines, and milestones, and drive execution to ensure successful system and process deployment

  • Monitor progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies, escalating as appropriate

  • Provide clear, consistent status reporting and communication to leadership and stakeholders

  • Partner with business teams to identify reporting and data analytics requirements, translating needs into actionable solutions

  • Collaborate with Abbott IT, Site Leadership, Quality System Owners, and Division Technology & Data Analytics teams to drive integration, harmonization, and future-state capabilities

  • Support change management efforts, including user adoption, training, and process standardization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a regulated quality environment, within manufacturing operations

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

  • Strong understanding of quality systems (e.g., CAPA, document control, change management) and manufacturing processes

  • Experience with Quality IT systems integration, deployment, or support

  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics, reporting tools, or digital/technology strategies

  • Project management experience, including the ability to develop plans, manage timelines, and drive execution

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, TrackWise, or similar platforms)

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and manage competing priorities

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset

This is a 2-years fixed term contract opportunity.
