Responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities of the Novant Health CMSO and organizing credentialing and recredentialing of physicians, dentists and allied health professionals within established department performance metrics. Responsible for the oversight of current licensure, liability insurance, and board certification for credentialed practitioners. Responsible for verifications of new Novant Health applicants to include: licensure, education and training, current and prior affiliations, National Practitioner Data Bank, OIG, and board certification to assure compliance with policy, state and federal regulations, NCQA, AAAHC, and TJC standards.
High School or GED, required
4 year/Bachelors Degree, preferred
Minimum of three years of hospital credentialing experience in medical staff services and/or a central verification office, required
