Position Summary
The Enterprise Process and Project Management Department Manager provides unified leadership across the organization’s project delivery and process improvement disciplines. While the Enterprise Project Management Office and Business Process Management teams remain distinct functions, this role ensures strong alignment between them—creating an integrated center of excellence that strengthens execution discipline, operational efficiency, and enterprise alignment.
The Manager provides strategic leadership, governance, and coaching to ensure that projects, programs, and business processes are executed with clarity, discipline, and measurable outcomes. This leader partners across departments to translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, optimize workflows, and embed continuous improvement practices into how work is delivered. By aligning project execution with sustainable process design, the Manager amplifies BPM’s impact on enterprise initiatives and advances the organization’s overall execution maturity.
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of combined experience in project management, process management, or enterprise operations.
- At least 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role managing teams and enterprise-level initiatives.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives that connect project execution with process optimization.
- Financial industry and core banking experience required.
- Deep understanding of project management and process improvement methodologies and their application in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise portfolio management and governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of how to align multiple execution disciplines (project, process, change management) toward shared strategic outcomes.
- Familiarity with project and process management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Visio, process mining, automation, or RPA platforms).
- Ability to align project and process disciplines to drive measurable enterprise outcomes.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective stakeholder and executive relationship management.
- Proficiency in project and process management tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Visio).
Salary Range
- Minimum - $82,910
- Maximum - $132,655
