Why This Role ExistsBizClik’s growth is driven by credibility, visibility and commercial partnerships. This role exists to ensure each portfolio operates as a high-performing commercial growth engine, directly supporting revenue generation, strengthening market positioning and driving partner demand.
This is not a support role. It is a commercially accountable position with ownership of marketing communications across defined portfolios.
In addition, this role will play a key part in leading and developing the Marketing Communications team, ensuring delivery is consistent, structured and aligned to business priorities.
Purpose of the RoleTo lead and execute marketing communications activity that strengthens BizClik’s market position, increases visibility and directly supports commercial performance across platforms and events.
This role is accountable for translating brand presence into commercial opportunity through structured, targeted and measurable activity, while also contributing to the day-to-day leadership and management of the team.
Role ObjectivesEnable and accelerate sales conversations through market visibility
Build consistent and credible external positioning across channels
Strengthen BizClik’s authority within each sector
Drive and monetise partnerships, agencies and external relationships
Support and co-manage the Marketing Communications team to deliver at pace and scale
Identify, secure and manage high-value media partnerships across events, awards and industry associations. Ensure all partnerships are commercially aligned, clearly structured and deliver measurable value, with performance tracked and reviewed.
Communications and MessagingLead the execution of external communications across portfolios, including editorial features, event promotion, speaker announcements and business updates. Ensure all messaging aligns to BizClik’s commercial narrative and strengthens external positioning.
Events MarketingPlay a key role in the marketing and promotion of BizClik’s global events, ensuring strong audience growth and commercial engagement. Work closely with Events and Sales teams to align campaigns with event timelines and revenue objectives.
Social and Owned ChannelsOwn delivery of social and owned channel activity across portfolios, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment to commercial objectives. Content must drive credibility, audience growth and partner attraction.
Agency and New Business EngagementDevelop and manage relationships with media buying agencies and commercial partners. Drive proactive outreach and position BizClik’s platforms in a commercially compelling way.
Team Leadership and ManagementWork alongside Grace to manage and support the Marketing Communications team. Provide direction, prioritisation and accountability, ensuring activity is delivered to a high standard and aligned with business priorities.
Cross-Functional AlignmentWork closely with Events, Editorial and Sales teams to ensure alignment across priorities, timelines and delivery. Act as a central point of coordination to ensure activity is joined-up and commercially focused.
Success MeasuresPerformance in this role will be measured against:
Volume and quality of partner and agency engagement
Inbound commercial interest generated through marketing activity
Media partnerships secured and delivered
Contribution to sales pipeline and revenue opportunities
Event performance support (registrations, engagement, visibility)
Effectiveness and output of the Marketing Communications team
A high-performing individual in this role operates with commercial awareness, pace and ownership. They understand how marketing activity translates into revenue and are able to execute with clarity, structure and focus.
They are confident managing external relationships, leading internal delivery and taking accountability for both personal and team performance.
Skills and ExperienceEssentialExperience in B2B marketing, partnerships or media
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability
Experience in events marketing and campaign delivery
Excellent communication and messaging skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with clarity and structure
Experience supporting or managing team delivery
Experience within media, events or publishing environments
Exposure to commercial pipelines and sales alignment
Experience working with agencies and external partners
