Description

BILLING SUPERVISOR

Job Purpose:

The Billing Supervisor will be responsible for oversight of proper submission of the claims for services performed by any provider not independently licensed in accordance with applicable regulations. The billing supervisor is responsible for reviewing documentation to ensure that supervises provide services in a manner consistent with Medicaid, KBHDID, and other third party payer requirements.


Job Expectations:

  • Sending correctional feedback to providers to improve adherence to billing standards.
  • Conducting monthly audits on non independently practicing clinicians as well as utilization reviews on independently licensed clinicians.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organization.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, public health, health care administration or related field.
  • Possess an active and independent license in Kentucky such as:
    • physician, psychiatrist, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, licensed professional clinical counselor, licensed psychological practitioner, certified psychologist with autonomous functioning, licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed professional art therapist or licensed behavior analyst
