Responsibilities:

  • Perform process simulations for new and existing production lines using PlantSim or FlexSim software
  • Actively participate in the development of manufacturing concepts for new products, as well as in RFI/RFQ processes
  • Participate in automation projects from concept creation to implementation
  • Validate automated production line concepts through simulation, including bottleneck analysis and utilization evaluation
  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of simulation guidelines
  • Cooperate closely with cross-functional departments such as Global AME Process Engineering and the Project Department
  • Investigate and evaluate new manufacturing technologies through process simulation
  • Maintain contact with engineers from partner companies and provide professional support
  • Prepare simulation-related documentation

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Informatics)
  • Knowledge of simulation or design software (FlexSim, Plant Sim, Creo, SolidWorks)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Communicative level of English
  • Willingness to travel

Advantages:

  • Knowledge of Plantsim simulation software is a significant advantage
  • Experience with JIRA system
  • Knowledge of automotive standards (VDA, ISO/TS, IATF, 8D, MSA, SPC, Pareto, APQP, PPAP, FMEA)
