About the Role We are seeking a Security Information Leader to drive the organization's information security strategy, governance, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for leading and continuously improving the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards, regulatory requirements, and customer security expectations. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor across the business, leading security audits, managing risk and compliance programs, and promoting a strong culture of information security throughout the organization. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience implementing, maintaining, and auditing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). ISO/IEC 27001 certification and strong knowledge of ISO 27001:2013 or 2022 standards. Solid understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) practices. Knowledge of information security regulations, privacy laws, and data protection requirements. Experience managing internal and external security audits. Familiarity with cloud environments, infrastructure security, and security best practices. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience responding to customer security assessments, due diligence requests, RFPs, and third-party risk evaluations. Advanced English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent. Specialization in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), or related disciplines. Key Responsibilities Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS). Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards, regulatory requirements, and customer security obligations. Coordinate and lead internal, external, and certification audits, ensuring timely remediation of findings. Develop, maintain, and enhance security policies, procedures, controls, risk assessments, and security documentation. Manage security governance activities, compliance initiatives, and risk management processes across the organization. Support customer trust initiatives by responding to security questionnaires, RFPs, due diligence requests, and compliance assessments. Monitor security metrics, compliance indicators, and ISMS performance, providing regular reporting to leadership. Drive corrective and preventive action plans to address identified risks, audit findings, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into organizational processes and projects. Promote awareness and adoption of information security best practices across the organization. Serve as the primary point of contact for information security governance, compliance, and customer security-related matters.
