Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Executive - B2B & Corporate Sales to develop new business opportunities within the travel trade, corporate sector, and hospitality network.
The ideal candidate should have strong sales experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with travel agents, B2B partners, corporate clients, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and B2B partners across Sri Lanka
- Generate new business opportunities within the travel trade and corporate sectors
- Promote and sell holiday packages, hotel bookings, group tours, and travel-related services
- Identify and onboard new travel agency partners
- Conduct sales visits, presentations, and networking meetings with potential clients
- Build and manage corporate accounts for employee travel, incentive tours, and business travel requirements
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets
- Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with partners and clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
- Coordinate with operations and reservations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, hotels, and service providers
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field would be an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in travel sales, business development, corporate sales, or a related sales role
- Experience in the travel industry, corporate sector, or hospitality industry would be an added advantage
- Strong network within the travel industry, corporate sector, or hospitality industry would be preferred
Skills & Other Requirements
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills
- Good knowledge of holiday destinations, travel products, and tourism trends
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Ability to conduct sales visits, client meetings, and business presentations
- Good coordination skills with internal operations and reservations teams
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting
- Possession of a valid driving license would be an added advantage
- Fluency in English and Sinhala is required
- Fluency in Tamil would be an added advantage
