Our client is a bilingual Chartered Professional Accounting firm located in Dieppe, NB that offers assurance, accounting, tax and consulting services to small and medium-sized owner-managed organizations. They offer assistance to both profit-oriented and non-profit-oriented entities.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position will work with staff members and will report directly to the Owner.

Responsibilities:

- Planning and preparing year end engagement, primarily compilation and reviews

- Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

- Preparation of tax compliance filings such as payroll, HST, T4 and T5 returns

- Provide support to clients on set-up accounting system and bookkeeping questions

- Qualifications:

- CPA Designation

- 2+ years of relevant public experience in Canada

- Knowledge of CaseWare would be beneficial

- Strong work ethics and capacity to work under pressure

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
