This role is for you if you have the below

Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Cloud Computing is a plus.

Work experience

Fundamental understanding in information security preferably in the areas of incident response, investigations

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent professional experience

Understanding of Data Loss Prevention

Awareness on one of the DLP solutions (ZScaler tool, Microsoft Purview and OWL , etc.)

Familiarity performing packet analysis.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a basic overview of security.
Have fundamental understanding of Data Security.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Produce clear documentation, runbooks, and training materials
Maintain continuous learning in their daily tasks and seek challenges

Technical Skills Required:

·Conceptual understanding in DLP.

Basic Requirements

§Educational Qualification: Pursuing or completed B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
§Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
§Cybersecurity Knowledge: Any prior training, certification, or coursework in cybersecurity (e.g., CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.) is a plus.
§Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic networking concepts, operating systems, and security tools is desirable.
§Attitude: Willingness to learn, proactive mindset, and ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

§Assist the cybersecurity team in monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity.
§Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.
§Collaborate on cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
§Participate in incident response and investigation processes.
§Assist with the documentation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and protocols.
§Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
§Provide support in the development and implementation of cybersecurity solutions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
Exposure to cybersecurity labs or simulations

Behavioral / Team skills

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Ready to work in Shifts (on 3 shift rotation pattern)
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Desire to learn and contribute
Focused and self-motivated approach to work

Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
