Description
We're looking for an early-career developer with a foundation in Microsoft technologies (C#, SQL Server, and ideally Blazor) who is eager to grow while helping build and evolve our enterprise system. This is a role for someone keen to learn fast in a supportive, mentored environment, getting to grips with a real, large-scale codebase from day one.
What You'll Do
- Implement features and components within our enterprise system, under the guidance of senior developers
- Write clean, maintainable code, with code review and mentorship to help you improve
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Fix bugs and assist with enhancements to the system
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and QAs
- Build your knowledge of our system, our domain, and good engineering practice
- Stay curious about emerging fintech technologies
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 0–2 years of experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server (academic projects, internships, or personal projects count)
- Exposure to full-stack development
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Git
- Eagerness to learn Agile ways of working
Nice To Have
- Any exposure to Microsoft Azure
- Interest in the insurance / fintech industry
- Awareness of CI/CD and DevOps concepts
- Any exposure to Blazor or Web API
