L3 Java Support Engineer (Remote - Mexico)
Are you a seasoned Java expert who thrives on solving complex production challenges? We are looking for an L3 Java Support Engineer to join our team and serve as a key technical authority.
This role is perfect for a developer with strong L2+ experience ready to step up, or an L3 professional who enjoys deep-dive troubleshooting and ensuring system stability.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 7-10 years of hands-on Java development and/or advanced (L2+/L3) application support.
Core Java/J2EE: Advanced skills in Rest API, Servlet, JavaScript/HTML, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, and Spring.
App Servers: Advanced experience with multi-server environments (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Weblogic).
Databases: Advanced hands-on experience with Oracle, DB2, or Sybase.
Unix/Scripting: Mid to Advanced skills in Unix and scripting (Shell, Perl).
Tools & Schedulers: Experience with job schedulers (Autosys, Crontab) and IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans).
CI/CD & DevOps: Mid to Advanced experience with Git, Jenkins, and other repo/deployable tools.
Support & Processes: Solid experience in a Support model (L2+/L3) and production tooling (Jira, ServiceNow). Familiarity with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
Production Changes: Proven experience making and deploying code changes (Java, Unix, DB) in production environments following SDLC processes.
