Description
Engineering Manager – Fleet Management in Stavanger We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a growing team of engineers in the Alliance Fleet Management team. In close daily collaboration with product, design and other disciplines, these engineers build software for fleet management of tens of thousands of RQI and NRP carts in hospitals and training centers, for CPR training. High value products like RQI Provider, HeartSaver, HeartCode, and RQI NRP, are in combination training 4 millions (and growing) of healthcare providers and professionals, primarily, but not limited to, the US market. The Engineering Manager will be - people leader for the 6 growing to 9 Stavanger based software engineers, including recruiting, retaining, motivating, coaching, compensating, and developing employees. This include 3 people managing Intune deployment for the stations. - accountable for technical excellence, including continuous everything, AI acceleration, (test) automation, security compliance, observabilty, performance and uptime, incident response, system architecture - accountable for the engineering discipline, including processes, developer experience and learning - be the primary tech lead on the team, delegating out special areas - reporting to the Director of Engineering for RQI Nordics (Mads Bak) You - live in the Stavanger area and will be at the office at least 3 out of 5 weekdays, preferably 4 - have extensive experience from the software industry, both as individual contributor, tech lead, and software architect - have strong people skills, including coaching, delegation feedback, and empathy, - have experience with leading people, preferably - have a relevant education, preferably a Masters degree Our mission goal is as meaningful for employees as it is for those whose life were saved, see: https://one-million-lives.com/a-shared-goal/ Reach out to Mads.Bak@laerdal.com – would love to connect and learn if there could be a match!
