Description
Description of Position: The Human Resources Generalist supports the Human Resources department by performing both human resources and administrative functions. Primary responsibilities include recruitment, hiring, onboarding, HR training and payroll administration.

Position Responsibilities
- Abide by company HR processes and employment laws and regulations
- Provide support for daily Human Resources operations and related responsibilities
- Develop recruitment strategies
- Create and post open positions to job boards.
- Work with talent sourcing vendors to ensure visibility of job postings.
- Monitor monthly recruitment spending; run reports
- Track applications, sponsor roles as needed and conduct initial phone screenings.
- Prepare offer letters and maintain communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Order and track pre-employment screenings.
- Work with our regional managers to coordinate new-hire orientation and prepare orientation letters.
- Enter new-hire information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), learning management system and employee appreciation platform
- Support the processing of team member timecards for payroll purposes.
- Prepare and upload commission spreadsheets.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Monitor Labor Law Posters to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Participate in the planning and execution of company events and team-building activities.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in human resources management
- Experience in the property management industry a plus
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a personable and professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality service to team members
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Experience with performing HR training to team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
