Sitting at the intersection of legal expertise, client relationships, and commercial strategy, you’ll help shape how we grow in a highly competitive, relationship-driven market.
You’ll work closely with Private Wealth legal specialists while connecting into the wider Ampa Group—spotting opportunities, strengthening networks, and driving initiatives that generate real revenue impact.
This is a role for someone who enjoys operating with autonomy, influencing senior stakeholders, and building something with long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
Partner with senior legal and advisory leaders to shape and deliver Private Wealth BD strategies
Connect fee earners with marketing and BD specialists to ensure joined-up execution
Lead and drive growth initiatives across Private Wealth, collaborating across Ampa brands
Build and deepen relationships with clients, prospects, intermediaries, and referral partners
Lead key account planning, client care activity, and feedback programmes
Identify and deliver cross-sell and referral opportunities across the wider Ampa Group
Plan and deliver events, partnerships, and campaigns that support growth
Ensure opportunities are captured, progressed, and converted into revenue
Use CRM, analytics, and market insight to identify opportunities and track performance
Monitor progress against goals and KPIs
Coach and support partners and fee earners to build confidence in business development
Manage BD-led budgets for campaigns, events, and initiatives
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What you’ll bring
Experience in business development within private wealth or professional services
Understanding of legal services and how they connect with tax, advisory, and wealth solutions
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and partners
A commercial mindset with the ability to turn strategy into action
Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, curious approach with the confidence to challenge and shape ideas
