Job Description

What You Will Accomplish

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of channel management and integration, including but not limited to GDS, DHISCO, SynXis CR, OTA extranets, Infor HMS and Opera CRS systems. Includes troubleshooting reservation connectivity issues and testing new releases.
  • Serve as the point person for an assigned group of properties for rate and content builds in all systems.
  • Assist with on-boarding new property revenue and reservation staff when required.
  • Assist with building newly acquired properties in all distribution systems.
  • Ensure department standards are being followed, including but not limited to the rate build process, content standards and travel agent help desk procedures.
  • Act as a resource for management, properties, and co-workers for questions regarding Distribution related issues.
  • Assist in the auditing of the various systems, GDS, DHISCO, SynXis CR, Lanyon Content Management, Infor HMS and Opera CRS systems to ensure content and rate accuracy/availability.
  • Create and maintain department documentation such as standard operation procedures and training manuals.
  • Target improvements in flow processes, procedures, service levels and make recommendations when necessary. Create SOPs to standardize processes across the collection of hotels.
  • Work with marketing, sales and revenue leaders to regularly audit, support and maintain content and connectivity with all distribution platforms
  • Support in preparing documents for weekly RevMax Meetings, providing data in terms of pricing and rate product offerings.
  • Build promotional rate offers in multiple revenue management, PMS, and marketing systems. This position will be largely focused supporting PHG’s independent hotel portfolio. System knowledge preferred with independent systems to include Synxis, Ideas, Infor HMS, Revinate.
  • Understanding of managing OTA extranets.
  • Load weekly STR data and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Ensure that the necessary reports are maintained and systematically analyzed, included but not limited to STR, market segment analysis, source contribution, internet production, pickup and pace by segment and ancillary fees contribution and room type statistics.
  • Attend weekly revenue management and marketing meetings to ensure alignment and meet deadlines for marketing submissions.
  • Light travel may be required. May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs of the department.

  • Ability to operate in a team environment. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple task and responsibilities at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel
