What you will do

The candidate will join the Digital RGA IT OT Data & AI Mgmt team and contribute to the development, deployment and support of AI and Machine Learning use cases across the organization. The role requires strong collaboration with business, architecture, development and operations teams in an international environment.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain Machine Learning and AI solutions to support business and operational needs. 

  • Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, trends and opportunities for optimisation. 

  • Design, train, validate and improve predictive and prescriptive models. 

  • Develop data preparation, feature engineering and model deployment processes using Databricks and Azure platforms. 

  • Support the deployment, monitoring and maintenance of AI/ML solutions in production. 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. 

  • Work closely with Data Engineering, Architecture and Operations teams to ensure data quality and solution scalability. 

  • Contribute to the adoption of Generative AI, Machine Learning and advanced analytics capabilities across the organisation. 

  • Prepare and communicate analytical results and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Follow Data Science, MLOps and governance best practices throughout the solution lifecycle.

What are we looking for 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. 

  • 1+ year of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or Analytics roles. 

  • Good understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts. 

  • Good programming skills in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn). 

  • Familiarity with Databricks and Azure environments. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Good communication and collaboration skills. 

  • Fluent English. 

  • Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models. 

  • Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning. 

  • Experience with MLOps concepts. 

  • Experience in renewable energy or industrial environments. 

  • Knowledge of data engineering and data pipelines. 

  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools. 

  • Agile working experience. 

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills.
