As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components and designing solutions tailored to client requirements. The role includes coding and testing multiple parts of the software to ensure functionality and reliability. Additionally, the day may involve performing maintenance tasks and implementing enhancements to improve existing applications, all while collaborating with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear records of development activities.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.
- Continuously monitor and improve application performance and reliability.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Payments Fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of payment processing workflows and transaction lifecycle.
- Experience with integration of payment gateways and APIs.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements related to payments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best coding practices in payment systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Payments Fundamentals.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
