Description

Purpose of the position (additional to role description)

Testing engineer is responsible for drive and electrical function test. Support production and quality team to find root cause of feedback from frontline though RMA process or single case validation. Communication between tribe-quality-SQM to clarify testing needs and results. Maintain test simulator and define the test equipment or digital tools to improve work efficiency. Follow the EHS rules to keep working safety and 5S.

                

Responsibilities and key activities required (additional to role description)

1.Cross-Functional Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to confirm testing requirements and samples.
Ensure clear and effective communication of testing needs and results with sub-system Tribe teams.
2.Test Implementation:
Create test plan based on project’s verification plan and preparation test environment.
Perform the test and collect the results.
3.Technical Output Assurance:
Ensure the technical accuracy and reliability of test outputs.
Summarize the test outcome and complete the test report.
4.Feedback Analysis:
Identify and find the root cause of feedback samples according to RMA process. Co-operation with Tribe teams to improve products design.
5.Simulator & Equipment Maintenance:
Effective way of using test equipment and tools. Maintain and improve the testing environment to support efficient and effective testing processes.
6.Work Environment:
The position will work in lab environment and ensure safe working environment (Safety & 5S).

Qualifications:
lBachelor's (or above) degree in Engineering, Electrical & Electronics or Technical Science or equivalent.
lMore than 5+ years of experience in Electrical Test or Development.
lStrong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
lAbility to manage multiple projects / tasks.
lExcellent communication and co-ordination skills.
lGood English writing and speaking skills.
Preferred Skills:
lKnowledge of AI tools, auto office tools is preferred
lGood understanding of Embedded SW, PCBA, Drive, EMC.
lStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
lExperience in Electrical & Electronics automation control system.
