Description
Key Responsibilities
- Data Monitoring & Integrity: Observe and validate live WITS/WITSML data streams (such as MWD, LWD, mud logging, rig & other services) to ensure data quality and availability. Aggregation of all data at rigsite on suitable data servers.
- System Troubleshooting: Identify, isolate, and resolve transmission latency, connection drops, or telemetry issues between the rig-site and remote operations centres.
- Platform Configuration: Support the onboarding of new wells, manage data routing, and configure software.
- Support Rotations: Maintain system health in high-availability environments, which often requires participating in 24x7 coverage. Ability to work in 12-hour shifts (either night or day).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Offshore rig :
- Ability to meet the required medical fitness to work on an offshore rig.
- The ability to clear BOSIET/ HUET certification is mandatory to work on an offshore rig.
- Client office in Mumbai
- This job role involves working in rotation (e.g, 6 weeks on, 3 weeks off).
- Accommodation and food allowance provided while on duty. Travel allowance from home to work location and back is provided.
