Our client is a luxury beauty and lifestyle brands distributor in the Middle East looking to hire a General Accountant with practical experience in Accounts payable, Cashbooks, General ledger accounts maintenance, inventory management, and taxation. Capable of working independently with minimum supervision.

What will you do?

• Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, goods sold on consignment
• Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
• Receive inventory in the accounting system and generate suppliers' Invoices in multi-currencies
• Maintain effective inventory for the company by running item forecasts based on current stock holding

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor in Accounting/Commerce/Business Studies degree majoring in Accounting or Applied Accounting. ACCA/CIMA/CA will be an added advantage
• SAUDI ARABIA accounting and taxation experience
• Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience in a beauty/cosmetics or FMCG distribution or trading organization
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using ERPs software such as Oracle, SAGE, SAP
• Inventory experience with min 500 SKUs is a MUST
