About your team

You will join a supportive, collaborative and energetic CEE organisation where people value openness, professionalism and genuine teamwork. As part of the CEE Management Team, you will not only help shape strategy, but you will also enrich the team with your personality, perspective and leadership style.

Your team is based across CEE region where we have offices in 8 countries. This is where we connect, coach, brainstorm and strengthen collaboration across functions. While we offer flexibility, being physically present with the team is an important part of how we work, support each other and make decisions together. This is the reason why regular travelling is expected for this role.

You will work closely with Head of CEE to support the regional growth strategy, strengthen coordination across affiliates, and improve the adaptation of global initiatives to local market realities. At the same time, you will collaborate frequently with colleagues in global marketing, supply chain, regulatory affairs and business partners such as suppliers, distributors and PR agencies. This is an environment where curiosity is encouraged, new ideas are welcomed and forward thinking is very much appreciated.

About your job

Central & Eastern Europe is a key growth region for Certis Belchim. The region is evolving rapidly: agriculture is modernizing, farms are scaling up, and demand for innovative crop protection solutions is accelerating. Unlocking this potential requires a commercial and marketing approach that is locally relevant, insight-driven, and future-focused.

As Manager Marketing CEE, you play a defining role in shaping our success in the region. You lead with vision and ownership, connect strategy to execution, and directly influence how we build a strong, future-proof business across CEE.

You will:

  • Define and lead the CEE commercial & marketing strategy, setting a clear direction that accelerates growth and positions Certis Belchim as a leading partner in the region

  • Play a key leadership role within the CEE Management Team, driving decision-making and ensuring a strong, aligned strategic course across countries

  • Co-create and steer long-term (5-year) growth plans with Country Managers, building ambition, clarity and accountability to deliver sustainable results

  • Act as the voice of the CEE region in global discussions, ensuring that real market needs and dynamics shape decisions and translate into competitive advantage

  • Drive marketing alignment across the region while empowering local teams, maximising impact by combining strategic consistency with market-specific execution

  • Lead the connection between Global Marketing and local organisations, turning strategy into action and ensuring effective, high-quality execution in every market

  • Leverage market intelligence and competitive insights to shape decisions, proactively identifying opportunities that strengthen our market position

  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities, from partnerships to portfolio expansion, to fuel long-term growth and innovation

  • Build and deepen strategic relationships with distributors and partners, securing market access and reinforcing our brand as a trusted and forward-thinking player

  • Partner closely with sales to drive commercial performance, ensuring that strategy translates into customer impact and tangible business results

About you

We are looking for someone who brings more than experience alone, a personality who will genuinely enrich our Management Team with fresh thinking, approachability and a forward-looking mindset and team player.

  • A background in agriculture, horticulture or a related field provides a strong foundation for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture, horticulture or a related field, preferably complemented by additional education or training in business administration, marketing or commercial management

  • Experience in marketing, commercial development or valuechain/foodchain roles within crop protection or a related sector will help you contribute quickly.

  • Colleagues find you approachable, personable and easy to collaborate with; building trust is something you do naturally.

  • You inspire others through your ideas, clarity and communication style, and you bring energy into discussions.

  • Keeping an eye on market movements, trends and innovations comes naturally to you, you have a strong sense of what is coming next and how to respond.

  • Strategic thinking is one of your strengths, but you are equally comfortable translating ideas into concrete, actionable plans.

  • You enjoy coaching and developing others, and you take pride in creating the right conditions for your team to succeed.

  • Working with a variety of stakeholders, from colleagues to customers, suppliers and distributors, energises you and plays to your strengths.

  • Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English is required to collaborate globally; Additional Central or Eastern European languages are considered an advantage

  • You can expect a marketbased complemented by a 15% performancerelated bonus on your annual gross salary and the benefit of a company car.

  • You will work in a hybrid setup. Ideally, you live within commuting distance of one of our Certis Belchim offices. In that case, you will spend around 60% of your time working from the office and 40% remotely.

  • If you do not live near a Certis Belchim office, staying connected with your colleagues remains essential. In that situation, we expect you to travel for approximately 30% of your working time to spend time together onsite. This approach ensures collaboration and connection, while still offering flexibility in how you organise your work week.
