Description

  • This role is responsible for leading financial controlling, accounting, cash collection, and financial reporting activities while ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies. The role acts as a strategic business partner to Sales, Operations, and Management teams by providing financial guidance, supporting project-based sales opportunities, optimizing working capital and driving financial performance.

Financial Controlling & Business Partnering

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, KPIs, and variance analyses.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and profitability analysis.
  • Provide financial support and commercial guidance for project-based sales opportunities.
  • Support contract negotiations by assessing financial risks and commercial implications.
  • Advise sales teams on margin optimization, payment terms, financing impacts, and profitability improvements.
  • Review and approve financial assumptions used in customer proposals and tenders.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate governance, and accounting policies.
  • Manage lease accounting activities in accordance with IFRS 16 requirements.
  • Review sales lease contracts and assess accounting treatment and financial impacts.

Cash Collection & Working Capital Management

  • Lead accounts receivable and cash collection processes.
  • Monitor customer aging, overdue balances, and collection performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and working capital performance.

Process Improvement & Governance

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, forecasting, and financial management processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • +12 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and Cash Collection functions.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing finance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 16 Lease Accounting.
  • Extensive experience in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, cash collection, and working capital optimization.
  • Experience supporting project-based sales organizations through financial and commercial consulting.
  • Strong understanding of contract evaluation, project profitability analysis, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
