As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with different teams to understand business requirements and applying modern development methodologies to build scalable and efficient applications. Continuous improvement and adaptation to evolving project needs are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that the software solutions align with organizational goals and deliver optimal performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and improve existing software components to enhance functionality and performance.
- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their development tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution processes within enterprise resource planning systems.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP SD modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD functionalities.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other modules or external systems.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
