Group 1 GMC Rockville Centre is part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are looking to add a Used Car Acquisition Specialist to our team! We purchase high-quality, pre-owned vehicles each month from prospective private parties as well as our internal customer list. The ideal candidate will be a key member of our growing team, sourcing quality vehicles from various channels while collaborating closely with our used car department. We need someone who is driven, competitive, and hungry to earn. While dealership experience is preferred, we are open to receiving resumes from all qualified candidates!
Compensation: $4,000.00-$5,000.00 USD/month. Depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone and email to build and maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction
- Develop a pipeline of sales and business opportunities (partnerships, referrals, etc.) through networking, referrals, and scheduled appointments
- Collaborate with sales management to execute the best "buy-back" opportunities and strategies
- Research and stay up to date on consumer and industry trends in the automotive sector
Qualifications:
- Dealership experience is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Solid working knowledge of the Internet and online sales tools
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence
