Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software development lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various components and ecosystems to ensure seamless delivery and maintain high standards of quality. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression testing. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, configuring data and environments, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to supporting ongoing improvements in testing procedures and overall product quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of quality processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks and automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Continuously monitor testing outcomes and metrics to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and their integration within software testing environments.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and scripting for continuous testing.
- Familiarity with security testing methodologies and API testing techniques.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results to identify defects and areas for enhancement.
- Knowledge of environment configuration and data management to support testing activities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
