Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer with expertise in SQL and MongoDB to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and users, as well as developing server-side logic. Your primary focus will be on the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Additionally, your experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases will be crucial in defining and maintaining our data storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Server-Side Development:
  Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• API Design:
  Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimization:
  Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Security:
  Implement security and data protection measures.
• Database Management:
  Design and maintain database schemas for both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Mentorship:
  Manage and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Continuous Learning:
  Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:
  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  Minimum 4 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as Express.js.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and familiarity with their query languages.
  • Familiarity with ORM libraries (e.g., Sequelize, Mongoose) for database interaction.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
