Job Description: Front-End Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Angular for web front-end development, possess a strong understanding of Java for web backend integration, and have hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).

THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

IDEAL START DATE - JUNE 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular, ensuring seamless integration with Java-based backend services.
• Collaborate with backend developers to implement APIs and optimise web performance.
• Create and maintain mobile applications for iOS (using Swift) and Android (using Kotlin), delivering consistent user experiences across devices.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, interactive applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across web and mobile platforms.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and project managers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience developing web applications with Angular.
• Strong proficiency in Java for web backend development and integration.
• Solid experience building native mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control systems (e.g. Git), and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS or Azure).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for web and mobile applications.
• Experience in cards /payments - desirable
• Location: Flexible – remote or hybrid options available.
