Description
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and well-organised Account Manager to add value to our APAC team. You will focus on retention and growth strategies within Crimtan APAC’s portfolio of existing business.Responsibilities
Delivering and executing best-in-class campaigns- Owning the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, ensuring core KPIs are clearly defined, tracked, and achieved.
- Acting as the central point of coordination between clients and internal teams, including sales, trading, creative, insight, and technology.
- Balancing client advocacy with internal realities, ensuring expectations are managed clearly and professionally on both sides.
- Supporting the trading team by gathering, validating, and relaying all required information in a timely manner, including:
- Pixel and tag setup requirements
- Campaign objectives and KPIs
- Target audiences and markets
- Competitor activity and relevant external factors
- Reporting and insight requirements
- Monitoring live campaign performance to ensure correct pacing, delivery, and optimisation, escalating issues proactively where required.
- Fielding and managing client requests, both administrative and strategic, including campaign bookings, reporting, insights, and post-campaign analysis.
- Proactively educating clients on best practice, campaign strategy, KPIs, and what is or isn’t technically or strategically possible.
- Leading internal campaign workflows from brief through to launch, optimisation, and post-campaign reporting.
- Ensuring all teams are aligned on timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Coordinating closely with:
- Traders to ensure accurate setup and optimisation
- Creative teams to brief, feedback, and deliver assets on time
- Tech teams for tracking, integrations, and technical requirements
- Anticipating risks or bottlenecks and addressing them early to avoid delays or performance issues.
- Maintaining clear documentation and communication throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Developing a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives, challenges, and success metrics.
- Helping clients achieve “firsts” for their brand, such as advanced dynamic creative, sequential messaging, or omnichannel strategies.
- Becoming a trusted, go-to partner, where clients value your expertise across execution, optimisation, and strategic programmatic guidance.
- Going beyond standard servicing by delivering bespoke insights during and after campaigns.
- Staying informed on client industries, products, and wider digital marketing trends to proactively bring new ideas and recommendations to clients.
- Supporting client meetings and responding to briefs by contributing campaign insights and executional expertise.
- Building strong, long-term client relationships based on trust, delivery, and results.
- Taking a more commercial mindset by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Proactively promoting Crimtan’s solutions and capabilities where they align with client needs and objectives.
- Project Management; campaigns are setup for success and are achieved.
- Pro-actively managing expectations and educating the client when it comes to best practice, campaign strategies & KPIs, what is/isn’t possible etc.
- Client facing post sales; Via data interpretation and presentations’ needs.
- Commercial Mindedness; with retention, upsell and cross sell existing clients minded.
Requirements
Ideal Experience:- 3-6 years’ experience in Business Development or Account Management in programmatic advertising or performance marketing sectors (Agency, Digital, Programmatic, etc.).
- A good understanding of the online media and performance marketing industry
- The ideal candidate will have worked with either directly to advertisers or digital agencies
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to “simplify” complex technology processes into meaningful solutions that address business needs.
- A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously with a high sense of responsibility and dedication to customer service.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in managing key relationships with key clients
- Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting and revenue reporting
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a busy and agile environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
- Possess a strong work ethic with a drive to progress, shine and succeed
