Seeking an experienced CPA to lead tax planning, compliance, and advisory services for business owners, high-net-worth individuals, families, and trusts. This role combines technical tax expertise with strategic client advisory responsibilities and offers long-term leadership growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Planning & Advisory

• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, trust, partnership, and corporate returns
• Develop proactive tax planning and wealth preservation strategies
• Research complex tax matters and provide practical recommendations
• Advise clients on tax-related issues and long-term planning opportunities
• Collaborate with financial and legal professionals to deliver comprehensive solutions

Practice & Team Leadership

• Help improve tax processes, workflows, and client service standards
• Support technology and operational improvement initiatives
• Mentor and develop accounting and bookkeeping staff
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and team development efforts

Business Growth

• Support the expansion of tax services and client relationships
• Provide input on service offerings and strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners

Qualifications

Required

• Active CPA license (or ability to obtain state licensure)
• 7+ years of tax preparation, review, and advisory experience
• Experience with complex individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Experience advising business owners and high-net-worth individuals
• Advanced tax technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience improving tax processes and workflows
• Interest in practice management and business growth
