An international game team is building a new development hub in Ho Chi Minh City to work on a new digital game serviceArcade Online bringing the thrill of classic arcade games to players around the world.

As a Senior Backend Developer, youll join a fun, fast-paced, cross-border team (collaborating closely with colleagues in Singapore) to build scalable and secure backend systems used by millions globally. If you're passionate about games, cloud technology, and building slick user experiences, this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect and develop cloud-based backend systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in GoLang, integrating with services like gRPC, WebRTC, and Firebase.

• Work closely with frontend developers to create smooth, high-performance user experiences.

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to build robust workflows and asset pipelines.

• Evaluate and recommend best-fit technologies and development strategies for new product features.

• Help scope and plan new features, products, and enhancements across the platform.

Your Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in GoLang.

• Solid understanding of cloud services (GCP preferred), gRPC, Firebase, and WebRTC.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, Mixpanel, and payment gateway integrations (e.g., PayPal, Braintree, ApplePay, GPay, Razer).

• Experience integrating prize fulfillment platforms like Tango, BMI, Zinc, or Printful is a plus.

• Comfortable with version control systems (Git, Perforce, or similar).

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.

• A passion for games and delivering delightful user experiences.
