The role

The key focus of this role is to support UniSuper in meeting its ongoing tax obligations and managing tax reporting requirements across the Fund and related entities. You will work closely with Corporate Services, Investments and external partners to support a strong tax governance framework.

• Support tax compliance obligations including income tax, GST and FBT
• Assist with tax provision calculations and reporting activities
• Prepare and support business activity statements and workpapers
• Contribute to financial reporting and operational tax activities
• Provide tax support across Corporate Services and Investments, including investment vehicles
• Work closely with the Fund’s custodian to support accurate tax reporting

About you

You bring strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and reporting deadlines while maintaining accuracy. You are a collaborative team player with solid foundational tax knowledge and a proactive approach to problem solving.

• General tax knowledge across income tax, GST and FBT
• Strong Excel capability and attention to detail
• Financial acumen and ability to analyse tax data
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong planning, organising and monitoring skills
• Experience in superannuation or financial services, ideally with investment tax exposure
