Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. This position also requires creating proof of architecture to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs, ensuring that the infrastructure and platform environments are effectively deployed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support continuous professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align cloud platform strategies with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
