About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions that enhance user experience and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and design new features.
• Integrate applications with external data sources and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.
• Perform unit testing to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability, including handling edge cases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix application bugs to improve performance and stability.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
• Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and multiple Android versions.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Strong understanding of Android design principles and user interface guidelines.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

•  Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).
•  Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
•  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Android apps.
•  Published apps on Google Play Store.
