Description
Critical FlyTech is a new organisation created by Airbus and Critical Software to deliver the next generation of safety-critical software across aviation, defence, and space. We are growing our systems engineering capability and looking for talented engineers who want to work on high-impact, real-world aerospace challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assisting specifying, designing, implementing and testing embedded software for avionics systems, cabin management systems, and flight control units.
- Learn and apply aerospace standards like DO-178C.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers across software, systems, and Airbus teams.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn, grow, and make an impact in aerospace technology. You’ll be mentored by experts and work on projects that matter.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, ora related field.
- Some experience (professional, academic projects, internships, or personal work) in embedded software development in C, C++and/or model-based software development.
- Basic knowledge of the software engineering V-cycle and its application in development processes.
- Familiarity with debugging tools, simulators, or basic testing techniques.
- Understanding of real-time systems and interest in safety-critical software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, international team environment.
- Enthusiasm for writing clean, reliable code and learning industry best practices.
