At ImFusion, we develop software for medical imaging, computer vision, AI and robotics. Our technology is used by leading medical device companies worldwide to bring innovative products into clinical practice.We're looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to help solve challenging problems in medical imaging and image-guided interventions.
What you'll work on
You will develop technology that combines live ultrasound with pre-operative imaging to support image-guided interventions.Typical projects include:
- Medical image visualization, segmentation and registration
- Fusion of live ultrasound with pre-operative imaging
- Real-time image processing and ML integration
- Development of core components of the ImFusion software framework
No prior ultrasound experience is required.
Work from anywhere in the EU, fully remotely or from our Munich office.
What we're looking for
- Excellent software engineering skills in C++
- MSc, PhD, or equivalent industry experience in Medical Imaging, Computer Vision, Machine Learning / Deep Learning, 3D Image Processing, or a related field
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both engineers and customers
- Ownership mindset and willingness to drive projects forward
- Professional proficiency in English
Nice to have
- Experience with Linux and Windows development
- Familiarity with CUDA/OpenCL, Python, Qt and/or CMake
- Experience with DevOps/CI, real-time systems and/or machine learning
- Exposure to medical imaging technologies
- Build technology that becomes real medical products and improves patient care
- Work on challenging problems in medical imaging, computer vision and AI
