AI Project Manager Delivery Lead
Location: On-site Sacramento
Salary: $175-230k
Sabot Consulting is seeking an AI Delivery Lead Project Manager who will be responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. This role oversees cross-functional teams, manages stakeholders, and ensures the successful implementation of AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:

Lead AI/ML project delivery from planning through deployment.

Manage cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Drive roadmap development and execution for AI initiatives.

Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, and security standards.

Monitor KPIs and delivery metrics to ensure project success.

Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.

Must Have:

7+ years of experience in project/program management.

3+ years leading AI/ML or data science initiatives.

Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Nice To Have:

Experience in public sector or government environments.
Certifications such as SAFe, or Scrum Master.
Background in data engineering or analytics.
Familiarity with AI governance frameworks.
