Description

Are you someone who enjoys turning data into useful insight and wants to apply that skill in a product-focused environment? We’re looking for a Product Analyst to join our Home Finance team, supporting effective product development, governance and performance oversight across our later life mortgage portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys working with stakeholders, improving reporting and helping teams make better decisions. You don’t need mortgage experience, but you’ll need to be confident working with data and keen to build your knowledge of product management in a regulated, customer-focused environment.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Producing accurate and insightful reporting for key product governance forums
    • Analysing datasets and turning findings into clear, practical recommendations
    • Supporting Senior Product Managers with product reviews, business cases and strategic initiatives
    • Improving MI, reporting processes and data outputs to increase team efficiency
    • Supporting product lifecycle activities including Fair Value Assessments and Product Risk Reviews
    • Reviewing product performance, risks and customer outcomes in line with regulatory expectations
    • Collaborating with teams across Commercial, Actuarial, Conduct Risk, Change and MI
    • Supporting smaller product changes and enhancements from idea through to delivery

    Who we're looking for:

    • Strong data analysis skills, with confidence working with defined datasets
    • Good Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to manipulate, interrogate and assess data
    • Ability to interpret requirements and produce clear outputs quickly and accurately
    • Experience creating insight that supports decision-making, reporting or governance activity
    • An interest in developing product management knowledge and capability
    • Understanding of data governance, data quality or auditable reporting principles
    • Experience in financial services, lending, regulated environments, Power BI or mortgages would be a huge plus!

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

    • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
    • Generous pension contribution
    • Life assurance
    • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
    • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
    • Competitive family leave
    • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
    • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
    • We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience

    Additional Information

If you join us, you’ll be part of a welcoming, inclusive culture, with opportunities to collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds, views, and experiences. Guided by leaders with integrity who care about your future and wellbeing. Empowered through initiatives which support people to develop their careers and excel.

We care passionately about outcomes rather than attendance and are therefore open to discussing all kinds of flexible working options including part-time, term-time and job shares. Although some roles have limited flexibility due to customer demand, we accommodate requests when we can.
