Description
- Position: Accounting Manager
- Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, and identify any discrepancies or variances.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present to senior management.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Mentor, train, and motivate team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and coordinate with external auditors during annual audit.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
