Description
The Audit Executive will play a crucial role in our Support Services-Internal Audit department, focusing on IT Audit assignments and ensuring the bank's compliance with regulations. This position offers an opportunity to lead a team, develop audit strategies, and contribute to the bank's overall risk management framework.
- Lead and manage a team of IT Auditors, overseeing various audit assignments.
- Develop a Risk-Based Audit Framework, adhering to RBI regulations and ISO 27001 standards.
- Prepare the IT Audit plan, collaborating with key stakeholders like the CTO, CISO, and CRO.
- Manage and liaison with outsourced audit partners, focusing on cost-efficiency and high-quality deliverables.
- Perform Human Resource Management tasks, including performance evaluation and talent development.
- Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance program, ensuring internal and external quality assessments.
- Provide advisory support for IT projects, offering expertise in internal controls and risk management.
- Mentor the team and engage in internal recruitment processes.
- Stay updated with key RBI circulars and industry trends.
- Travel as required for audit assignments and stakeholder meetings.
- A degree in a relevant field with 5-10 years of experience in IT Audits, preferably in BFSI.
- CISA certification is mandatory; CISM/CRISC/CISSP certifications are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of RBI circulars and regulations.
- Strong project and relationship management skills, with team handling experience.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and efficient data handling abilities.
- High energy, passion, and a self-starter attitude with good presentation skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, able to multi-task effectively.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for work as needed.
