Your Role in VT Markets
As a Business Development Executive reporting to the Business Development Manager within our Business Development Department, you will be based in Bangkok, Thailand, working in a hybrid environment (2 days in office per week). This role focuses on the Thai market and involves close collaboration with our operations team to drive customer acquisition and retention. You will play a critical role in expanding our client base through proactive outreach, relationship building, and delivering exceptional customer experiences that directly contribute to VT Markets' growth objectives in the Southeast Asian region.
Your Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition: Conduct outbound calls and proactive outreach to connect with new potential customers and convert them into active traders on VT Markets platform
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication, understanding their trading needs, and providing personalized solutions
Account Onboarding: Guide new customers through the account opening process, ensuring smooth onboarding experience across appropriate communication channels
Customer Needs Assessment: Listen actively to customer requirements and offer tailored solutions or alternatives that best meet their trading objectives
Sales Process Execution: Follow established sales methodologies and processes for each customer interaction to maximize conversion opportunities
Customer Retention: Monitor customer engagement patterns and proactively reach out to inactive clients to understand concerns and re-engage them with the platform
Issue Resolution: Handle customer queries, complaints, and payment-related issues promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction
Performance Optimization: Utilize available sales tools, reports, and analytics to plan and execute activities that effectively boost sales performance
Market Intelligence: Stay informed about customer behavior trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business growth
What Success Looks Like
Quality Relationship Building: Establish strong, trust-based relationships with clients that result in long-term partnerships and positive customer feedback scores
Customer Retention Excellence: Achieve high customer satisfaction levels and successfully re-engage inactive clients through proactive communication and effective problem resolution
Process Enhancement: Continuously improve sales processes and customer interaction workflows, contributing to overall team efficiency and customer experience optimization
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer relationship management, preferably in financial services or brokerage industry
Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and building customer relationships
Strong understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and investment products
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tools, and data analysis for performance tracking
Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English, with ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer base
Resilient and persistent approach to sales with ability to handle rejection and overcome objections
Problem-solving mindset with customer-centric approach to finding solutions
Ability to work in hybrid environment with 2 days per week in Bangkok office
Due to the hybrid nature of role, you will need to access your personal device & laptop for work
Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones for international clients
