To learn more visit: https://awaresuper.com.au/member About this opportunity Day rate contract role Melbourne OR Sydney location 12 month contract We’re looking for a Workday Payroll Functional Analyst to play a key role in the delivery of our payroll transformation. You’ll partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to shape requirements, design solutions and support end-to-end delivery of Workday Payroll. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep AU payroll expertise with strong business analysis capability and hands-on Workday experience. In this role you will: Lead payroll requirements gathering, analysis and documentation (HLRs, BRDs, user stories) Own and validate Workday Payroll workbooks for AU payroll Design end-to-end payroll processes and support solution design decisions Conduct impact and gap analysis, providing clear recommendations Support testing – including test case creation, execution, defect triage and payroll validation Deliver parallel payroll testing, including scenario development and reconciliation Manage requirements lifecycle, including traceability and alignment across streams Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align to legislative and business needs Contribute to a strong risk, compliance and control environment To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: Experience delivering Workday Payroll (AU) implementations Strong knowledge of AU payroll legislation, ATO reporting and compliance Proven experience in parallel payroll testing, reconciliation and balancing Experience translating awards/EBAs into system rules Strong business analysis capability across complex transformation programs Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders Experience working across Agile and Waterfall environments Nice to have: Workday HCM knowledge, Exposure to UK payroll The Aware Super difference At Aware Super, we believe that diversity of thought, background and experience creates better outcomes for our people, members and communities.
