Description
Seeking a TS/SCI Cleared Systems Engineer or DevOps Specialist to support the secure deployment, sustainment, and maintenance of a mission-critical platform. This is a hands-on technical role working in a classified environment with periodic on-site system installations and upgrades.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
✅ Perform on-site installation, upgrades, and sustainment at government facilities
✅ Deploy and maintain Docker-based applications ✅ Administer and tune PostgreSQL databases supporting AI/ML workloads ✅ Configure, patch, and optimize Linux systems
✅ Implement system hardening, logging, monitoring, and auditing ✅ Troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues ✅ Coordinate with government IT, cybersecurity, and change-management teams ✅ Ensure compliance with security and accreditation requirements
✅ Support long-term system lifecycle (3–5 year program)
🔹 Qualifications & Requirements
🛡️ Active TS/SCI clearance (must be current)
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field 💻 5+ years as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer 🐧 Strong Linux experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
🗄️ PostgreSQL database administration
📦 Docker and containerized deployments
🔐 Experience supporting secure or restricted environments
🔹 Preferred Experience
⭐ DoD or Intelligence Community systems
⭐ AI/ML platforms in classified environments
⭐ STIGs, RMF, NIST 800-53 familiarity
⭐ Work inside government data centers or secure facilities
Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $55 – $70 per hour.
